The Jolly Jays, our senior adult ministry, is for anyone age 50 and above. We encourage seniors from all churches in the Jay area to join us during our weekday activities. This is a fun-loving bunch who enjoy spending time together. No old “fuddy-duddies” allowed! Our goal is to minister to others and to one another as we seek to stay active in God’s work. Jolly Jays meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month, usually in the morning, for meals, trips, and ministry opportunities.

Annual Events
Birthday party: January
Thanksgiving meal: November

Trips
Even if it’s just shopping at Wal-Mart, this group loves to GO! We have traveled to Ridgecrest, North Carolina, for a senior adult conference and to Mobile to view exhibits at the Exploreum. We have toured the planetarium at Pensacola Junior College, the Pensacola NAS Museum, the old Pensacola lighthouse, and traveled to Orlando to visit the Holy Land Experience. Who knows where we’ll go next!

Monthly Luncheon
Jolly Jays meet the second Thursday of each month. Sometimes we bring a covered dish; other times we go to a restaurant. Our program may consist of a devotional or a testimony, or we may have a guest speaker. In any case, the program is always interesting, and we always have a great time of fellowship.
